In 1996, I was asked to write a plaque for a Holocaust monument to be placed in Green Park, Sydney, opposite St Vincents' Hospital and near the Jewish Museum. The monument was finally unveiled in 2001. I went there one weekend in April, 2004, Holocaust Memorial Weekend and took these photos. |

I don't know if you can see the text clearly on the plaque... It says: We remember you who have suffered or died at the hands of others: Women who have loved women; Men who have loved men; And all those who refused the gender roles others have wished us to play. Nothing shall purge your deaths from our memories. |
