So, from about April 24 to May 24, 1999, David and Rosanne went travelling in Europe on one of those insane whirlwind tour type things where we tried to see four different countries in four weeks. It was fabulous. When I say "tour", I don't mean at all that there was a guide and a bus and a fat man with buck teeth. Nope, there was us and a trusty Lonely Planet guide book. This was David's first overseas trip, and his impressions of Madrid when we first stepped off the plane are great.
