07/10/03 — and the rest
Sick again. I don't interact well with overcast climates with nasty wind.
That aside, used illness as an excuse not to do any more work on stories (and why should I when they're not paying?). Instead, went to Oxford with my ex Jocelyn (who's now married and living in Bristol) and had a wonderful day being Lord of the Rings geeks. We met at the Ashmolean Museum, apparently the oldest in the country, walked past the Bodlean Library down Rose Lane into the beautiful meadow and round to Merton College (one of the three original Oxford Colleges and the one where Tolkien had his office).
